TROJAN VIRUS?! (29th May 08 at 7:59pm UTC)
WTF?! Why do i get Trojan Virus when i try do Dl v 55?! and when i try to launch RiggedMS ?!

Yeah i took a ss if you need proof. I'm not sure if i have one i didnt get to click to put it in the vault because i went to get a pop and just barely saw it before it closed * i have avg free virus protections and the warninings only stay up for 30 secs*

ytd i was able to play ,

but today when i went in the folder . , it say trojan .

i tried to off the avg and reinstall but it doesn't work too

Do what drsilo did, take off your antivirus(es), and reboot and re-download the client after you do so.

Get another anti-virus. I think avg is blocking it, my friend has this problem too. {Grin}

if u turn off your Resident Shield, you will be able to click on the client. AVG scans this client as a Trojan thats why, either find a new anti-virus program or turn off Resident Shield.

jup same problem here, virus-scanner throw Rigged off and Im not able to download it again since the scanner blocks it..

yeah.. turn off ur resident shield and AVG won't scan the file if u re-download it. If it still scans it, uninstall AVG. simple.

You may as well do what BlackRanger said to do first. If that fails, just uninstall AVG and download a different anti-virus program.

But i gues the trojanvirus is an trojan virus huh ?! and i don't want my harddrive to get ****ed up! xD for some days ago my friend got stolen by 500 euro only cuz he had a trojan virus in his computer and it did found his pw for the card ..

Well for me, I had that problem. It even said it for a different private server I used to play. But, if RiggedMS WAS a Trojan Virus, wouldn't you think that other spyware/anitvirus programs would have found it already? The only one that detects RiggedMs as a Trojan Virus, as far as I can see, is AVG.

I currently using Avira AvtiVir and I oso get trojan viruswhen downloading RiggedMs. Izzit really safe to download?

If other people had this problem, practically everyone would be flooding the forums and posting. It's safe, though for me when I used "hijackthis" scan it didn't detect anything. I guess some antivirus programs detect and categorize it differently... Other than that I think it's safe. You don't have to take my word for it though.
